Do u like the Apple forum and why ?

I love this mac forum.
Why ? becoz the people that i find here are very helpful and at the same time not mac fanatics or absolute windows haters. I think this brings in very realistic opinions and solutions ..

Personally, I think it gathers too many trolls because it is attached to PC hardware forums... And we get a ton of those people that like to hop the fence really fast, pee in our lawn, then jump back to their side for safety.

(Dell owners tend to be the worst. They post non-sense in both the Panasonic and Apple sections, giving actual owners of both a hard time clearing up their BS posts).

 

I'm glad someone appreciates the work we are all putting in to make this forum pleasant. And keep reporting those trolls, we mods are ruthless when it comes to trolls.

 

There are trolls here now and then sure, but another mac site I visit, most of the people there are really snotty and I wouldn't feel good posting there.
Here, like the OP basically said, people here are mostly cool and unbiased, and it's a much more comfortable atmosphere here.

I think this place is great. Its actually amazingly peaceful compared to some of the other Mac-related communities out there; most of the time everyone works well together and most members are friendly and knowledgeable.

This is by far my favourite mac forum. It was here that I asked my first one thousand stupid questions and I mostly escaped all the abuse so.. it's great.

 

yeah the people are great, the seemingly unbiased mac/win is great compared with other forums that can go strongly both ways.

 

I like how level headed are the folks here. Yep there are trolls here and there but people here in general are more informed and have wider experience with a variety of platforms. Unlike in PC only or Mac only forums.

I recently found NBR. In fact, I stumbled upon this site when I was researching the new HP dv5. Well, a few weeks later I now own a new MBP (which just arrived today thank you very much) .

This purchase was in large part to my being fed up with PC's over the years AND my reading, and reading, and reading on NBR's apple site. Sure, I visited a few other 'forums' out there but being a newbie, I really felt I would (might) get yelled at for not being in the know...... and for posting something ridiculus in a place other than NBR.

 

It's so cozy in here; like your favorite pub.

 

NBR is my favorite. I find the people to be less rude and condescending than on macrumors, in general. Also less crazy obsessive and open to debate.
