This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I remember reading some threads a few weeks back about the now classic macbook pro and how the superdrives Apple used were cheap and had problems reading home burned dual layer dvds. Is this problem still around? I plan on re-encoding blu-ray movies to dvd9's and I need to know if this will be a problem, thanks.
