    Do I need Leopard to use Boot Camp now?

    BootCamp 1.4 still works and will continue to work just fine after it "expires." Apple will simply no longer offer it for download after that date.

    Officially, no. Boot Camp Beta is no longer supported, as the final version of Boot Camp has been released in Leopard.

    As stealthsniper said, you can go ahead and download it now, but you won't be able to partition after the end of the year. You will still be able to use windows after that though. So whatever you want to do, do it now.

    Thanks for the link guys, I think I'll just wait and buy Leopard though seems like the safer route.
