A dutch user on the GoT forums used a spyder to calibrate his MB 13" LED display.
This profile came out: http://home.hetnet.nl/~speedpete/Spyder2macbook.zip
One user has confirmed that the colors got much better. For another user it did not improve.
I know individual panels can be different but it can't hurt to try it.

I'm not much of an expert as far as accurate colors go, but I can tell you on my new MB it did seem to make the screen "contrastyer". Lol.

That'd be pretty nice if they released these profiles for older MBP's.
Would save us the trouble of having to get a spyder : > -
I tried this one on my 17" 1920 matte LED display and it didn't look to bad actually. Still using it now.
At least it got rid of that RED tint I had on everything.
Actually it wouldn't hurt to get more Display profiles posted to compare and use. I know for me I was upset when I first got my MBP the color was pure crap. Everything was red. Searched online and found a color profile that helped. Tried calibrating it myself and was even more disappointed, be darned if I will spend money to get this screen looking reasonable. Especially for the 3600 I spent for it. That was my first upset with my MBP.
Some come folks post your Color profiles and help out fellow users. -
It's a little warm, but I'll try it for a while. Colors have a bit more pop to them. I have a 9C89 display.
Thanks for the link Phil! -

My display looks better than ever now. It's in XP after setting digital vibrance in the nvidia panel to 25%.

Someone needs to figure out a way to enable DV in OS X. It can't definitely improve contrast and color saturation.
Display profile to try out for new Alu MB 13" owners
