    Does anyone know what this brown spot is on my mbp's mobo? The same color is on a metal cover on a mounting hole on the mobo as well.

    What brown spot are you referring to? Also, try using macro focus (the flower button on your camera) and better lighting with no flash.

    I wouldn't worry about it, unless your computer doesn't work in some way.
