This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    nope! u figured it all! Some RAM's are from gray market, comes without warranty I guess!

    You know, usually you have to pay a premium for ram labeled as "mac ram". I generally avoid that, because there's no difference between regular ram and the so called "mac ram". I think you can save yourself $20 or so if you looked at ram for pcs with the same specs.
