    Hello...
    Are there any main differences between the core duo macbooks and core 2 duo macbooks, besides the processor?
    I'm not looking for "more ram" and stuff like that. I'm wondering about bios differences, thermal changes, etc... (significant differences that would make me want to stay away from the non-2).
    Most of the reviews that I've seen on the macbook were about the core duo and I saw a lot about random reboots and heat. I've seen where some people said that a lot of changes were made, but didn't specify what those changes were.

    the core 2 duo is 64 bit while core duo is 32 bit
    core 2 duo offers more battery life plus you are future proof with a core 2 duo
    plus with a core 2 duo you get a boost in performance

    The Core 2 has draft N wireless cards. You have to pay $2 to enable it though.
