Dam, had no idea but I have heard of a couple similar cases...I wonder how the 30% is refunded; at payment or a rebate?

I think it's sorta like a rebate that goes into your live account. Even though this stuff is all over the net I can't figure out the instructions; it's basically go to live.com, sign up, shop, and cross your fingers that they deposit your money... but it's a little more complicated ie you have to buy from certain sites, and sometimes it doesn't work/isn't available.

It works perfectly on eBay. Gotten several bunches of cash. Right now the rebate is 30% up to a maximum of $200 per transaction. Very sweet deal. It was $250, and that's when I got my current Penryn MacBook Pro for $1500 delivered, brand new. Money is literally refunded by Microsoft - into your Paypal account.

Haha I find that funny that Microsoft is paying you after buying a Macbook.

Not really, it's offered in conjunction with their affiliates which is Ebay/Paypal.

Many sites only offers 1-5% Cashback but on Ebay, using Paypal you can get 30% Cashback.

It's really a rebate since you have to go through steps to claim your money and it will be sent to you after 60 days.

I just gotten $450 back recently.
