So I bought a 15 MBP with the i5 2.53 proc at the Mac Store last night after hemming and hawing b/n it and the i7 version with the HD screen (no hd screen available for purchase immediately in store without i7).

I love it, but feel like I'm going to regret not having the nicer screen. So can I order the same one I have now (or maybe a i5 520 with a 7200 500 gb hdd and the matte full hd screen) and return this once I get it? I desperately needed the computer immediately when I purchased, so it would wind up working out perfectly if it is possible. But if I'm sol, I can deal.

    Thanks

It boils down to what you feel you NEED. The sooner you make that decision the sooner you should contact the store of purchase to see if you can exchange it.
