Some times when I completely turn off my MacBook and turn it back on I loose my desktop images (I have them changing every 30 minutes) and the screen is just a soft blue. When I double tap and go to change desktop background, it is still pointed to the right folder and all the setting are right so I dunno what is happening. Doesn't really bother me, just a bit annoying...

This happen to anyone else?
-
Hate to bump this up but does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening?
-
never seen it...
might need more info to figure it out.
any 3rd party programs that mess with OSX's looks?
I've only seen a similar issue when using sleep with my old MBP and an external monitor.... but it totally screws up and keeps blue on the main background until i reboot the computer, then works fine. -
I had this yesterday happen to me; so far I'm assuming its an update thats disturbed it as its never done it before. Restarts ever since then have been fine and my backgrounds have stayed.

Hmmm, I will continue to play with it to see if I can figure out what causes this. It doesn't happen after every restart which puzzels me.... I really don't know. It just seems like it doesn't load the background for some reason...
Oh, no I haven't installed anything to change the appearence...
PS: I also had the comp off for like 3 days and when I turned it on last night, my time and date where way off... had to connect it to the internet to get it synced again... is that normal?
