Hey guys, i got a MBP13 (2009) and today i realized there was a little dent on the lcd case on the back, lower left but there was nothing wrong with the screen, just the dent on the opposite side, is there any way of pushing it back out? would apple fix it if i took it back, im still under warranty or would i have to get apple care?

    Apple doesn't cover cosmetic damages.

Join the club. When I purchased my MBP, I treated it like a baby. But when it was only a month or so old, I dropped it from a table (ouch). Result: everything worked perfectly fine, but I had a dented-in corner on my screen.
Although having purchased Apple-care through my Apple-reseller, they told me this was only an issue of aesthetics and not of functionality, so this wasn't covered in the Apple-care program.
Furthermore, to fix the dent they have to replace the whole screen.

So I learned to live with my dented MBP, and when I look at it now I can't help but think 'Hey, nobody has exactly the same mac as mine :)'

If this would have happened with a plastic notebook, it would have cracked the lid and presumably the screen as well.
With my Macbook, all I have is a dent.

yep... lets make this thing look ugly... so we don't accidentally smash the thing and make it look ugly.

I guess its like biting the bullet... make it look ugly with some big ugly case and not worry about any future ugliness.

You could always get a hardcase and cover it so you dont see the dent.

Or get some of those stickers that you put on the lid that looks like wood/graphic etc
