I have a funny feeling people in this forum are going to recommend the Macbook.
You might consider posting in the What Should I Buy forum instead... with the FAQ filled out.
Edit: I see you posted duplicates in several forums. Please don't do that. -
Whatever you do, don't get the Dell. Either the Thinkpad or the Macbook will serve you well.
However, if I were you, I'd get XP pro on the X61 without thinking twice about it. -
Do you want to use OSX? If yes then get the macbook. If not then go for the T61 or X61 depending on what size you like better.
Dell m1210 or Thinkpad X61/T61 or Macbook
