    If I were to order a macbookpro in the $1999 configuration w/glossy screen on July 2nd or 3rd, what would the expected delivery date be? Anyone ordered one recently? If so, how long did it take? There are no apple stores close by......

    i just ordered my macbook pro on wednesday. estimated ship time for me is july 5-9 so probably about a good week or 2

    When I ordered it on launch day it arrived in 3 business days. Ordered on Wednesday, arrived on Monday.

    Why do people start these threads? I know you're trying your hardest to irritate me ;). Anyways I hope I can help, please forgive my candor. Exact same thread topic, but about the Black MacBook.

    Just go to The Apple Store Website and figure this out for yourself. That way you'll get the most accurate estimate.

    Once you select the computer you want to buy Apple tells the Estimated Ship Date, currently 5-7 Business Days for the $1,999 MBP. Then when you add it to your Cart and complete some additional steps, Apple will give you an Estimated Delivery Date.

    If you get confused click the "Chat Now" link at the top of the page to instant message an Apple representative. Apple has excellent Customer Service!

    Why not just go to an Apple Store? I had to call around, but eventually found one with what I wanted. It's worth the drive -- make a trip out of it.

    Sorry to ruffle your feathers, and I hate a missed the dupe thread.

    I really wanted first hand, recent experiences. I've come to never trust an estimated ship date by the seller. They almost always turn out to be optimistic.

    And to the above post...I don't live near one of the "metropolitan areas" Apple seems to cater to...I guess my surroundings are more "bovinepolitan"...

    Orders made online are ship from China via fedex next day. So it should come pretty fast.

    It depends, my order was shipped from China a week after my order, and it took another 5 days (3 business days) for FedEx to take it from China to Maine.

    My order date was June 20, shipped the 28th, and is scheduled to arrive July 3. I ordered mine online because my local Apple store said their shippments were going to be delayed and advised that it would be just as quick to order it online. It has been a loooooong 10 days!
