    Hi guys,

Per the Mac switchers guide by Xirurg, I deleted some preferences of applications to clean out, and now the application Numbers won't open whatsoever, and Preview won't open PDF's. I have an important document in each and really need to open them. Is there any way I can reset what I did and go back to before without using Time Machine? I didn't back anything up, so that was a mistake... Any help would be appreciated!

You must've backed everything up if you have TM. At any rate you may have deleted some of the required files for iWork in the process. If you bought iWork separate from your Mac then pop in your iWork install DVD and reinstall iWork. If iWork came preinstalled then you'll need to use the included Restore DVD marked "Applications", unless Apple included a separate iWork DVD.
