As the title says I would like to get rid of my Boot Camp partition to free up extra space for OS X. How do I go about erasing the partition and then merging it back with my OS X disc space? I was looking around in disk utility but I couldn't figure out how to do anything.

You should be able to "restore" your original partition in the Boot Camp utility.

Thanks that was incredibly simple... Took literally ten seconds after I clicked "restore" to finish.
