So if Apple came up with a cybernetic implant, would you be willing to try out the first batch?

What if Microsoft wrote the OS, would you be more or less willing to try it out?

What if Dell made it instead?

What if Packard Bell made it? :p

Oh, and happy (belated) birthday Sam! :p

I wouldn't buy it if it were a mac - it'd cost too much and the errors wouldn't explain themselves.

I wouldn't buy it as a dell, though they are cheaper, I'd rather have the more expensive and reliable packard bell.

Lmao, hell no. I wouldn't have anything installed in my body unless I needed it to live.

As a guy with many piercings and tats (None of which you can see with clothes on), I've got no problems putting something weird into my body.

I'd prefer the Apple or Panasonic hardware, because it'd either work really nice and look good if it was Apple made, or it'd take knife and bullet hits being a Panasonic.

It's not gonna run microsoft software though.

    Yup. :D

It sure would be fun to check my email in my head though, or be able to hit up the internet while working to check up on things.

Yes well, unfortunately, my funding was cut, and all funds were reallocated to Apple's newest innovative project: the "Uber Portable Ninja Laptop Sleeve" for the Macbook Air, code-named "manilla envelope". I hear they're investing billions into making those <del>envelopes</del> sleeves.

I wouldn't run any first batch item from Apple.

I'd take a Dell or an Asus, and make sure it was running a Linux kernel. Don't want my brain hacked, kthx.

I'm a cyberpunk fan... so I'm with Moldy on this one (as well as in the same categories regarding piercings and tats)...

I love the idea of implants. Not sure if I would be a test subject, but I sure would love to give them a go!

I like the idea of implants in women, and that's about it. Oh and if Microsoft had anything to do with this thing the whole world would be flopping around on the pavement convulsing because we just got the blue screen of death. I'd hate to even think about where the reset button would be...ouch!
