    After 6 years?

Hopefully the implementation of this will be better than some of the source games that have been converted thus far.

people are playing modern ware 2 these days , am just wondering .. will anyone enjoy 6 years old graphics while he is used to up to date graphics on PS3 and PC ?? , i think even online servers of the game will have a very low amount of games :s

Counter Strike: Source continues to have a significant number of servers. However I would expect in the 6 year time frame Modern Warfare 2 will be struggling along since by then two if not three successors would have been released. Evidence of this comes from the inability to find a decent Call of Duty 1 server.

I noticed that I never pay attention to graphics in past paced fps. What really pulls me into the game are the game mechanics and levels

Hopefully this means the major update of CS:S to the new(er) Source engine is going live at the same time. So (potentially) this is good news for Mac and PC users alike!

Now Valve, about that Episode 3...

CS:S is one of the best game. I love it. All the new games are fun (MW2, BFBC2, etc), but it doesn't come close to CS1.6 or CS:S. And there are a lot of servers still running and a lot of ppl still playing it. You will be surprised.

Now I wonder, if you already own Counter Strike Source for the PC will you have access to the Mac version on your Apple Macbook or do they expect Mac owners to buy this new version to be able to play the game even if they own the PC version?

You automatically own both versions. At least that's how it's been for the Orange Box games so far.

anything thats listed as "Steam Play Mac+PC" if you buy (or have ever bought) the game, you have access to both versions at no extra charge.
