    Hi all:

Just discovered notebookreview.com and I am quite excited about all of the helpful information. I hope someone can help me qualm my final fear about purchasing a mac computer. My current position requires that I use both Word and WordPerfect. I understand that Microsoft Office 2004 takes care of the compatibility issues with Word, but what are my options for exchanging WordPerfect files with my PC using coworkers? I would like to keep it 100% seamless if possible. Also, FYI, most of the WordPerfect documents we use have custom templates. Thanks for any information you can share!

If you really want to be 100% compatible, your going to need to get a PC, otherwise there will always be issues popping up. What is your reason for getting a mac? Here is a video you might want to watch before buying a mac, it was made by a former mac user.

Thanks for the link. I wanted to get a mac because 1) i think their design is nicer and 2) i hear really good things about their operating system and software. In addition, most of my friends are on macs and they all rave about them.
