I found my cousin's favorite game command and conquer generals at apple.com. It lists a couple 3d video cards, but since the GMA 950 is newer then those cards does anyone know if it will run the game fine?

I'll be getting the 2.0 ghz and have 2GB of ram

The GMA 950 will probably be technically able of playing Generals, but probably extremely slow and at low graphics.

It'll run just fine on a MacBook at atleast 1280x800 MEDIUM settings. My old laptop could push 1024x760 Medium, and it has an SiS graphics chip in it.

The MacBook will handle C&C Generals just fine.

Will I get better performance running the MAC version or running windows in bootcamp and running the PC version?

It should be about the same, but to be sure you can check system requirements at the game's manufacturer, EA and Aspyr.

Generals was made in 2003 from memory, and a reasonable card then is the equivalent to the gma950 now. It should run reasonably well in windows, and I have no idea how well it will run in mac; I've read it runs quite slowly, but if there is a universal patch it should run ok.
