    Choppy Video

    Has the choppy video issue been resolved with MACBOOK Pro's?
    I'm still having problems when i watch HULU or CNN of choppy video. I have Fios connetion so i know it 's not the speed, ATI 1600, with 2mb memory, 2ghz processor. Can someone tell me if there's a fix?

    I'm guessing both those sites use Flash. I don't think there's really much you can do other than upgrading to the latest version of Flash. Flash for Mac notoriously underperforms compared to the Windows version. Adobe complains to be addressing it, probably to get on Apple's good side to let them make a port for the iPhone, but it's slow going.

    have you tried using some different browsers? Like firefox, safari, opera?

    I dont know if its specifically one browser thats giving you problems. Also it could be that the server is under heavy load, but nowadays I dont think that is really the problem much anymore.

    I haven't noticed this a lot on my aluminum MacBook, but Flash on OS X is pretty poor. Every once in a while there will be dropped frames and stuff. It kills the battery life too. I really think it's just a problem with Flash.
