    hi

    i need some help changing my short name in my mac. since i bought it 2nd hand.

    i have 2 dvd installer. is it possible to change short name if i will use these DVD installer?

    i tried changing it but i think i done wrong, so it actually messd up. i do also transferring previous home in my 2nd HDD and renamed it and i did it correctly but still i saw the name under User so i want totlly to remove it.
