I want to restore my hard drive to a single partition using boot camp, however when I run boot camp and select the option to restore the hard drive and resart the computer the microsoft xp partition is still there.

Does anyone have any ideas what the problem is?

FYI the windows partition is in the NTFS format.

That is weird. First I would be sure you are running Boot Camp in an admin account and not a limited account. Second, try downloading the newest version of Boot Camp. Perhaps there is an issue that it fixed.

Did you ever figure out a solution?
I ran it twice just to be sure, and sure enough not only is my Windows partition still there, I can still boot to it at startup and everything

Is there another way to change it?
