Like the title says, I can't get 1080p out of my Macbook Pro. I'm using a DVI to HDMI cable to connect to my parents Sony HDTV LCD (not sure of the model) The TV says that it supports up to 1080p but I only get 1080i when I connect my Macbook Pro to it. Let me tell you this, I connected my MBP to the TV using a DVI-VGA adapter and it looks miles better than the 1080i crap that comes out of the LCD when I use the DVI to HDMI cable. Anyone else have this problem?
