The connectors will be different. You'll have to use a 2007 screen replacement on a 2007 mbp. Wish the advice had sunken a bit more, earlier. I would still recommend returning this or reselling it, and buying the desired model.

Or, what I would really recommend is to get something newer.

    Hi
No because I have windows 7 64 installed and I can perfectly increase color saturation and display looks very nice .. whereas in mac os x lacks with these BASIC utilities and settings ..

Are you sure you know how to run OS X? Doesn't sound like it. You've had multiple posts so far showing your lack of knowledge of the system.

I'm sorry but that statement made little sense. I was able to understand what you wanted but it seems as if you went out of your way to make that as confusing as possible.

If you think it looks nicer, that's great. More power to you. I wouldn't recommend that setting for other users, as it just degrades image quality.

You can do a lot more in the OS X Color Utility than you realize.

How can someone "pridefully" show you how to adjust the color (and various other aspects) of a display? That statement used jargon and grammar often found in those mass market SPAM e-mails from China. That was my point.

There's no point bothering him just because his English isn't great. English is hard to learn if you aren't native.

That wasn't my point. I can understand if people don't natively speak English and/or if they are ESL. I was pointing out that the statement seemed fishy like all the mass SPAM emails that flood my Gmail account everyday. I wasn't making fun of them for making that statement.

that's because the spammers are also using automatic translators on the internet and many expressions and idioms don't translate well 1:1

Possibly true, but arbitrarily increasing the saturation of colors just makes all of the colors you see incorrect, and it means that you'll lose detail in images that are actually have high saturation. (Digital vibrance does not affect the monitor directly, it affects the image that is fed to the monitor).

    EXACTLY Man Yeah 100% agree
You are here ONLY intelligent man here !
I play with color setting all the time
and I always make my limit depend of what I am doing on laptop by opening a photo on laptop and moving with color slider up n down and I have it set on 75% (50 % is like zero ..)
