    Can you rename your boot camp partition?

    Ok, i install boot camp following the apple instruction. After i finish, when i boot back to mac os, the boot camp partition was renamed "untitled" can i rename it to different name (at this time it doesn't let me rename, when i click on it).

    You should be able to rename it from the Boot Camp side; Mac side wont let you write to it since its probably an NTFS partition

    Try paragon ntfs. It should let you do what you want during the 10 day trial. $39.95 isn't a lot to pay to have access to both file systems without having to bother with windows.

    I had file corruption with that utility. So I won't be using it again.

    so does that boot camp partition on macside is name "untitled" or "bootcamp" after u installed window?

    just start windows through bootcamp , and open your computer, then right click on C:\ (or whatever drive it is) and rename it. when you go back into OSX it should show up to what you changed...thats how I did it
