Can you get multitouch to work on a Magic Trackpad on a Win8 PC?

I have a NUC that i use as my HTPC.
It has Windows 8 and currently im using a k400 keyboard on it.
But its not really to my satisfaction.
So i was thinking of getting a Apple keyboard and a Magic Trackpad.
    And use on it.
I've googled about if the multitouch will work, and found some old articles about it.
But they say only 2 finger scroll works.
But since they are old. Are there anyway to get 3 finger swipe to go back and forth, and such multitouch gestures to work on Windows 8?
    Or is it still impossible?

Would be awesome to get it to work.
Because if it don't work, there are better options.

There is a 3rd party driver called Trackpad++ but it's designed to be used with the MacBook Pro. You could try but there is no guarantee it will work with the external device. Make sure you buy the Trackpad from someplace where you can return it.

Also, the Trackpad is much less usable without a surface to rest it on - its little support nubbins/raisers are actually the buttons.

I'd recommend you get something like this:

TK820 Wireless All-in-One Keyboard with Touchpad for Windows 8 - Logitech

You'll get drivers and gestures guaranteed to work with Win8.

I know that's similar to the one you're using now, but that one was never really designed to do more than two-finger scrolling, and it uses a much worse trackpad.

Im going to use one of those adapters that you fit both the keyboard and the magic trackpad on. So they are one unit. With that it will work and feel just like any other keyboard with a mousepad.
So i wont have the issue your talking about.
I was tinking about the logitech one. It comes to sweden in September.
But i rather get the apple keyboard/trackpad to work.
But if its impossible the tk820 will be the next choice.

I know the adapter you mean, but I really recommend you wait for the Logitech - the Magic Trackpad performance under Windows is a real shadow of how good it is under OS X - plus, the Logitech unit is only $20 more (in USD, unsure how much in krona) than just the Trackpad alone.
