Any mini displayport to HDMI adapter should work though there are some reliability issues with the less expensive (cheap) cables. I purchased one no-name cable from Amazon for $7 and it has already broken despite using it for about 5 months. The adapter would transmit static and would mess with the audio. I almost purchased a Moshi cable but they cost about $40 and that is a little too rich for my blood. I have since purchased Griffin's adapter and find it to be pretty solid. The adapter is a little short but it is extremely durable and I haven't had any issues with the adapter for the last 3 months despite it getting heavy use both at home and at work.

The adapter also transmits sound so you can get both audio and video out of your 2010 MBA. It even comes with a DVI adapter in case you need to hook up to a monitor/HDTV that has one of those inputs. I don't really think you can go wrong with the Griffin adapter especially since Amazon is selling it for $25.

I just got the one from monoprice. The quality is great and they have a good warranty It was pretty cheap I think under $12 or so shipped. (I think it was a bit cheaper but I'm not 100% sure).

I've stepped on it and it still works fine.

Be sure you get one that is newer. Some of the older ones did not support sound. Be sure that whatever you buy is at least HDMI 1.3 compliant.
