I downloaded a program (EvoCam) that allows you to use the built in iSight camera in your MBP as a security camera. The only problem is that anytime the camera is in use, the green indicator light is on. Is there any way to disable or turn off that light?

After searching around a bit, it seems to be impossible.

    tape :) ?

but if you are actually using it as a security camera you shouldn't be worrying about the light being on.

if it is a spy camera that is a different story :p :)

If you're using it as a spy camera, also remember that the MBP doesn't like high humidity... so the girls' locker room is definitely out of the question. Perv. :p

Hahaha, security camera. Lol, the would be thief will just close the lid and walk off with the unit. Also the camera requires good lighting, so be sure to setup a couple of spot lights shining on to your bed! :D
