I'd like to cast my vote for a thread officially dedicated to Mac vs. PC fighting. :D

For some reason every once in a while I just like to sit back and read through all of the ridiculous comments and remarks, and so I figured it'd be fun to have just one thread for all Mac and PC flaming wars. It might also help to keep it out of other threads, as people could simply be told to 'go vent here'. :D

    So mods, pretty please?! :D

P.S. Or if there's already a thread like this that exists, by all means please point me toward it! :D

think I'm gonna wait on the mods before I answer... not feeling like getting banned tonight.

I also agree mac vs pc threads can be very fun to read.

I'm not sure it'd work. Since egos seem to be more easily bruised in this subforum, the closet-emo equivalent of fighting is too broad to define - and after a while you'd just have a whole bunch of mildly snide comments peppered with affected ennui, occasionally interspersed with the dumb ones from Windows users with no experience of Macs (I guess in your situation the dumb posts from Mac fanbois will not be a source of any amusement) - all in all, likely slim pickings for a flamewar connoisseur.

There are already many threads like this, but they are all locked for a reason.

Why the need for a fighting thread? I use both platforms, as long as it gets done what I ask of it, who cares?

    I vote no.

Thread closed. This is a discussion forum, not a battle arena. You can go to other sites and do that - not here.
