Guys I got a dumb question.
I saw a discount on Macbook and would like to buy one. But the problem is I have been using PC before and never try an apple machine.
What I care most is Matlab SAS... all these statistics and mathematics software, and SWP (scientific workplace) because these are the ones I gotta use in my daily life on work. Is there anyone know whether these sofeware can run properly in macbook?
Thanks.

A little Google goes a long way:

But you might need a Mac version? -
wow... thanks.

Mathworks actually has great support and may work with you on transferring to mac. Be careful, though, some of the features of Matlab don't quite work right with OS X. The main one that affects me is excel writing. It almost works, but not quite. The good thing is that Mathworks recognizes these issues and is working on them right now.
Also, you can always run Windows in parallels and/or boot camp for those programs/features that don't work.
Can Matlab, sas and SWP run in Macbook?
