So I've been thinking about switching from windows, the only real reason I used it so long was because to me, premiere pro was a better program than fcp. But now that CS3 is coming out for the mac, I'm really considering. One thing I really wonder is if there will be performance issues with the video card, and will cs3 preimere run well, and the other thing I wonder (and this I wonder the most) is if OnLocation CS3 will run. It sounds like an amazing program, and if I can get this running decently on a macbook I would be glad. Right now Im using a thinkpad z60m. Should I make the switch?

Video editing is not hard on video cards.

The Macbook does not even have a video card, it has integrated graphics.

Video editing is CPU intensive, and the 2.16Ghz Core2Duo CPU on the Macbook is more than enough to handle simple video editing tasks.

As count_schemula and Budding said, the MacBook will handle any CS3 application and video editing just fine. Don't worry about it.
