Does anyone have a recommendation for good free cd and dvd burning software for Mac? I just need something at this point where I can burn some files to cd's for backup but I would prefer something that was good all the way around so I don't have to go looking for something else later on. Thanks in advance!

What do you mean? Just burning files on a CD... well I think finder can do the job.

To clarify, hollownail means Disk Utility (found in /Applications/Utilities) :)

And as for burning simple data disks, I concur with the above posters - just make a burn folder in Finder.
