    Hey guys.

I'm new to mac, so bare with me.
I got a film file, and I've made a menu for it on iDVD.
It's a .dvdproj file, and the file is small enough to fit on my 4.7GB DvD-R disc.

I've got it open in iDVD, and I've clicked the little Nuclear icon next to the Preview or PLAY icon. But it keeps saying "There was an Error in Encoding" or something alike when it gets to the end of the Menu burning process.

    Please help!

Also, I've looked on the internet for a solution. And it says to Drag the .dvdproj file to the "Untitled DVD" in Finder under Places and then the Nuclear Icon next to it.

But it wont go onto the DVD itself, only slot in next to it inside places.
    Please help!

It will need to complete the encoding (this can take hours) correctly before you can burn it...either with iDVD or another program. Although the best is to let iDVD do the job.
I would check the preferences/settings in your project, try changing these, removing somethings etc and trying the encode again.
If that doesn't work its possible that the project has become corrupted, so perhaps it might be necessary to start a new project (bummer so do this last).
