I apologize if this has been asked before but I hear that some people think that Apple's fonts look blurry compared to Windows fonts. I downloaded Safari beta 3 for my Windows machine and I guess I can see why some people complain (although I wouldn't really call it "blurry"). My question is if there is a browser for the Mac that will display the fonts like Windows does. Firefox maybe?

Well, let me say Safari for PC's font rendering isn't nice at all, but the Mac version of Safari is much better. Firefox uses the same Webkit as Safari, so it will render text the same way Safari does.

But once again, Safari for Mac renders text much nicer than Safari for PC does.

Hmm...now that you mention it...Firefox does use Gecko...whoops :p. But as far as I know (and notice), Firefox still renders text like Safari does on the Mac...

I did notice Safari renders text differently on both the Mac and Windows PC platform. I like the way Firefox and IE 7 render better..
