I just got my new Macbook. Is it normal to have 3 charge cycles already, according to iStatPro?

You know? It's funny you should mention it. Same here brand new MacBook and iStat is showing 3 cycles. That was not the case with my MBP.

Mine had 0 cycles. Seller even showed me it had 0 cycles when I bought it, to assure me it was "new". I never asked him to do that though.

Mine had 3 cycles too after the first calibration. No idea why, my opinion is they might test for faulty batteries. Ordered it online, came brand new.

I think mine did too. I wouldn't worry about it.
