I am trying to get vista ultimate up and running on my new MBP 2.2Ghz laptop. I went through boot camp and Vista comes up just fine however I can't get either wired or wireless internet to work. (no drivers installed) Where can I get these drivers?

    thanks!

yeah I did that, it ran and installed a bunch of stuff but not the network drivers, I tried doing it manually (open cd -- click intel -- click ethernet drivers -- and install) however it still isn't installing. :(

my boot ROM version is MBP31:0070.B00
    SMC version 1.16f8

so I think I have the most updated firmware

Yeah, all the new (Santa Rosa) MacBook Pros have the newest firmware. Are you using Vista Ultimate (x86) 32-Bit or (x64) 64-Bit?

Try booting into OSX and creating a new Mac Windows Drivers Disk and then reinstall the drivers with the new disk in Vista.

Yeah, definitely a problem. According to Apple, Boot Camp 1.3 does not support x64 (64-Bit) Vista. That's not to say you can't make it work, but I do not know how. I didn't even try since Apple does not support that yet. Maybe someone else has gotten it to work. Otherwise I suggest using the 32-Bit version, It works very well!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I have the same problem with the 32-bit edition of Vista Ultimate. I'll try making a OS Windows driver CD thingy and let you know if it works. Bit annoying it didn't "just work" like with the almighty Mac OS'!

Ok, I was being silly. I have the 32-bit version and simply installing the bootcamp drivers from the leopard DVD did the trick. Good luck with the 64-bit version, I'm sure it won't be (that) long before bootcamp support becomes official anyway.
