I've been reading some stuff on the bootcamp website...and just wanted to confirm if I'm interpreting right.

Is it true that I will need a FULL version of Vista to use with bootcamp and that if I currently own Windows XP and buy the UPGRADE version of vista, that it will not work?

I think you'd need to install XP first (needs to be XP SP2), and then install Vista Upgrade.

Your gonna have to do a full install, or go XP then upgrade.

    Sucks don't it?

Yeah, what is slipstreaming? And does anyone know where I can get a 30 day trial of Windows Vista so I can see how it runs on my MBP before dropping a pretty penny on it?

Slipstreaming is when you get Windows XP SP1 and download SP2 upgrade pack from Microsoft. Then you get a program and merge them into one SP2 disc.
