With a MacBook Pro, if I install bootcamp and Windows XP, will everything work as if it were just a PC with Windows XP? Like, will all of the components in the MBP (like wireless, graphics card, USB ports, etc) be recognised and supported in Windows? And is it native or emulated?

The other thing I was wondering about is the mouse. Macs only have a single button mouse, if I connected a standed two/three button mouse will OSX and/or Windows (through bootcamp) support it? I need my right mouse button and scroll wheel :)

It's native support, just as if you were using regular PC hardware.

OS X supports most every mouse out there. If you have a mouse with multiple buttons, those may not work in OS X at all (unless you use a program such as SteerMouse), but you would at least get right click and scroll wheel capability.

Yes, the leopard disc includes all the drivers to get the hardware on your mac working in a 32-bit version of windows. I bought a Razer Diamondback G3 for my MBP, and it works perfect in Mac OS X. The 2 buttons on the right side for scroll up/scroll down work, however the 2 buttons on the left which is used to go back or forward in a browser don't work for some reason. Also the discs with the program to customize it aren't compatible with OS X, but the mouse still works as a mouse, with left and right click and the scroll ball/button.

Yes, all the components will be recognized. Its all native, so you will get the same power as any PC notebook with the same specs.

And yes, if you plug in a mouse it will work :).

I would suggest a Logitech mouse. I just switched my self and I had a Logitech Laser mouse that I had been using with my PC mouse.

Anyhow there is logitech software for OS X(that I never had to load with XP/Vista) that allowed me program the buttons on the mouse. Now my back and forward buttons work like a champ in OS X.
