Just a heads up, it looks like Apple may not offer Boot Camp to those who choose to stay with Tiger:

One commenter says that your Boot Camp partition will continue to work, but you will no longer have access to Boot Camp Assistant. I would just keep an eye out when Leopard drops later this month.

    Thanks for the info :).

According to Apple's Boot Camp Website:
Apparently Apple forgot to mention v1.3. Is anyone still using an earlier version of Boot Camp? If so, have you noticed any changes now that technically your version has "expired"?

At the moment you can still download Boot Camp Beta v1.4. So maybe it would be wise to grab it as a backup. Peace.

Thanks for the heads up cash. I plan on upgrading to Leopard as soon as it comes out(70 bucks for student, sweet deal). Maybe I'll try to get boot camp to run before I do the switch.

Regardless, all this talk of Apple screwing people with this is stupid. Part of the agreement of the Boot Camp !BETA! was that it was time limited and offered only so that it would be perfect when Leopard came out.

Interesting, Cashmonee. I'll keep an eye on this news, and if it seems to get more confirmation I'll edit the Windows on a Mac Guide.

In the TUAW article posted above there is a circular link to Apple's recent "Support Document on Boot Camp". In case you care to read the actual document here you go: When does Boot Camp Beta expire?
