Hey all,
I'm trying to figure this out. I've done some searches and googled some more but to no avail.
I recently migrated over from PC so I might be having a harder time than some.
Anyway, I installed Windows XP Pro SP3 without a hitch. After installing it, I tried to remove the CD in order to install my bootcamp drivers. No luck. I tried right clicking CD drive and then eject, no luck. I tried all other possible methods in Windows to eject it, no luck.
I ended rebooting and holding down the trackpad and it finally ejected. Anyway, my hope was that installing bootcamp will help the issue but it didnt. When I'm in Windows and holding down the eject button, I would see the eject graphics pop up on screen, but nothing comes out. HOwever, the CD drive reads without a problem.
Any other things that I can do? Am I required to use SP2 when installing? Also, everything is fine in Mac OS.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

I had this problem once when i had just installed my bootcamp drivers. I did the same thing you did, that is, pressing the eject button while pressing on the touchpad. however, when i had rebooted windows, the problem went away. May be you could re install your bootcamp drivers.

same here.
the same thing happened with me after installing Windows 7 on my macbook.
but when i reinstalled the bootcamp drivers, everything started working perfectly.
well.. except right click. i have to use an external mouse. cuz two finger tap/click doesnt work -
my right click also didn't work. I applied the apple multitouch update. (click on start>programs>apple software update). It's 3mb and after it has been installed, it will request authorisation for restart. Then after restart, go to the bootcamp control panel and click the trackpad tab and then select tap to click and on the right frame, select alternate click (or whatever it is called). 2fingers tap should then generate a right click.

This is a really annoying bug.
You can't eject CDs and right click until you restart Windows after you've installed BootCamp. There is a work-around though:
Go to My Computer, click on the CD drive, and then click the Eject button on the sidebar. -
@cdnalsi
doesnt work. atleast, it didn't for me. and i installed Windows 7.
windows gave some wierd error.
i had to reboot and hold down the trackpad/mouse button to eject the disk, then boot into windows and then pop in the leopard install disk to get the bootcamp drivers. -
hey thanks for the response.
as far as right clicking eject, going into WMP and hitting eject, or selecting eject from left hand bar, it didn't work.
after a couple of restart, it managed to work.
Thanks! -
Instead if restarting a couple of times, you could have pressed the trackpad button and the eject key at the same time, just after you have heard the chime sound at start up. Continue till it spits your cd/dvd. I know you have solved your problems but this may help you in the future.

@luke1708
actually, no need to hold the trackpad button AND eject key.
only the trackpad button will do. -
Restarting into OS X or ejecting on start up will solve the problem.
Boot Camp Installed, CD drive won't Eject
