    Black or White Macbook

    Hello everyone, I;m thinking in buying a refurb black macbook, but i have a question. Its there any differences between the white and black macbook? I'm wondering because i remember reading something about how the black macbook hard drive was actually slower than the white's and both were 5,400-RPM.

    They're the same exact machine, except the black comes with a little more HD space. I was looking at the refurbs, and the black is only $50 more (assuming you're buying from the US). I would personally get the black. The black color, along with more HD space was a $200 premium, now it's just $50. ;)

    The difference is the colour, the black MacBook does off the top have more powerful specifications but the white MacBook can be configured to have the exact same specifications for a slightly lower cost.
