Ever since I installed Leopard booting up Windows has been a gamble. Half of the time it boots up without problem however, the other half of the time it boots up with a blank screen.

When it boots up with the blank screen:
-Apparently windows is working because I hear the start up noises (intro music etc), can adjust the volume, adjust the screen brightness. I can do pretty much everything except that the screen is completely black.
-It takes a much longer time to boot up.
-When I feel the bottom of the computer its noticeably warm-hot. Windows does run a tad bit warmer than OS X but at least from my experience the bottom of my computer does not almost immediately become hot (which is does with the blank screen).

Also, I just installed ilife 08 (the upgrade disc came with my mac and i just realized I had it rofl) and every time I try and start up the new Imovie it gives me an error message saying the the application unexpectedly quit. Anyone know what could be up with this?

Thanks in advance! Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!

Have you installed the latest Boot Camp drivers that are on your Leopard DVD?

What graphics drivers do you have installed for Windows? Like Budding already mentioned, after upgrading to Leopard you should update the Boot Camp Drivers from the Leopard DVD. <noparse>Apple</noparse> has some updated graphics drivers available via this support document: Boot Camp 2.0: Video issues with Windows Vista or XP. You can also get more up-to-date graphics drivers from LaptopVideo2Go.

Have you run <noparse>Apple</noparse> Software Update lately, since installing iLife 08? There have been some important updates for iLife 08 that resolve Leopard compatibility issues.

I haven't installed the Bootcamp update yet. Is there any way I can get the update without having my Leopard CD? I got Leopard while I was at home and forgot to bring it with me when I left. If worst comes to worst I suppose I could have my family mail it to me, but I don't really want to wait that long.

Can I download an ISO from the internet since I already own Leopard or would that be illegal?
