    Hello!
What are the best drivers to use for the 8600M GT while running windows xp in boot camp? I was in the gaming section looking for the answer, and when I tried to use the 163.16 drivers, windows wouldn't start back up. Thanks!

Happened to me to. Did you do the driver only install or setup? I ran setup that time.

I am now using 162.18 with only the screen flickering when i open nvidia control panel. Otherwise great. I used a dynamic modded inf.

How did you install it? Did you just get the modified inf and replace the old inf with it and run setup? Thanks!

I replaced the inf. Went into windows device manager. Found the video adapter, clicked update driver and browsed to that inf and new driver folder.

I tried this and the windows driver update wizard didn't recognize it. Any ideas on how to get it to work? Am I forgetting something?

You have to install the driver manually. Goto device manager, follow the above, tell it something like

install manually, dont search, i will provide the disk, have disk, then browse for it.
