    Thinking ahead here...
I will definitely be adding 2 more Gigs of RAM to my MBP when I buy it (which will be immediately after the release of Leopard).
What are the best online retailers to buy RAM from? I'd be looking specifically for a single 2 GB stick for a new MBP.

if you are looking for a total of 4gb of memory you will need to buy 2 x 2gb stick of ram.

all MBP ship with 2x1gb sticks.

Really?? That sucks! Thanks for the info. I did not realize that. I guess I will have a couple 1 Gig sticks of RAM to sell in the near future. :)

You should also check out Chief Value, which is a subsidiary of Newegg.

Another good place for RAM, and other computer stuff, is ZipZoomfly.
