Thinking ahead here...
I will definitely be adding 2 more Gigs of RAM to my MBP when I buy it (which will be immediately after the release of Leopard).
What are the best online retailers to buy RAM from? I'd be looking specifically for a single 2 GB stick for a new MBP.

Newegg is a good online store.

Cheapest 2gb for MBP you'll find around. Having no problems with it. If I decide one day to upgrade to 4gb, I'll get another one of these. -
if you are looking for a total of 4gb of memory you will need to buy 2 x 2gb stick of ram.
all MBP ship with 2x1gb sticks. -

Yeaps, I recommend Newegg as well. Very reliable, cheap prices.

You should also check out Chief Value, which is a subsidiary of Newegg.
Another good place for RAM, and other computer stuff, is ZipZoomfly.
Best place to buy additional RAM?
