I need a video converter that converts videos into the iPod format on the Mac. Any recommendations?

You can use iSquint, that's pretty good. If you're trying to make an iPod formatted video from a DVD movie, use HandBrake.

Does anyone else use Handbrake running on 10.5.2? Ever since I upgraded its not been able to complete a conversion. It will run forever, but will only complete about 30 minutes of video (even though it says it finished fully). I have a test machine at work running Tiger, and no problems with it

HandBrake is supposedly Leopard-compatible...I don't know. Let's see if more people can voice their experiences on the matter.

Haven't had the chance to try it with 10.5.2 yet. Maybe I will tomorrow or tonight.

I would second Handbrake and or iSquint.

Handbrake works fine in 10.5.2. I've had issues with the latest release v0.9.2, but v0.9.1 still works.

Hmmm...maybe I'll play with it again tonight. I'll remove it and re-install
