Can anyone guide on where the best deal on a new 13" MBP 2.53 may be had for a location in TX? I will eventually get Apple Care, Parallels or VM Fusion, iWork, and peripherals (keyboard, mouse, ext. monitor), so if those are bundled with the unit, even better.

The best I have been able to find is $1474 on amazon (free shipping and no tax to TX - that's $25 below the apple store price, and another $125 of savings in taxes).

    Thanks in advance.

Great tip. They charge for shipping, but don't charge sales tax for TX. Also they throw in Parallels for free after mail-in-rebate (MIR), plus a $40-60 MIR on HP printers.

AAFES might be pretty cheap, or just go to a base.

Also check MacConnection; I don't know if they have any rebates running right now, and if they do realize you'll be waiting many weeks to get it, but sometimes they have the best deal around. They charge minimal shipping but usually no tax.

Assuming you mean Vancouver Canada and not Vancouver, Washington, you can try a place in Richmond called Compu2000. See
