I used the wireless Mighty Mouse. The connection to the computer is GREAT, and it's VERY responsive, however, the mouse itself isn't great. The scroll ball is a HUGE hassle to clean when you have to - and you will have to. And the way it's designed, you actually have to break through glue to properly clean it.
The only reason I was using one was because someone gave it to me for free. :)

In my opinion, if you have the choice to buy one, don't get that one. :D

I used a Razer gaming mouse for a while, and when I got the mac I knew i'd get their new bluetooth mouse eventually.

Well i ended up getting it and I have no regrets. Its the Razer Pro Click Mobile, pretty small, feels great, and good battery life. (been two months since I got it and its still running on the two AA's it came with.)

I like the mouse so much that I stopped using my wired mouse when im at home, and now all I use is the bluetooth one.

So I gotta reccomend the razer bluetooth mouse.

I would advise against buying any Apple mouse of any kind. If there's one thing Apple doesn't do right it's mice. I agree with sulkorp. I have a Razer Diamondback 3G, although it's USB, I can testify to Razer mice being top-notch, and really recommend them.

i had a logitech v270 for a while, it was great and under 40$ on the egg.

they dont sell it anymore, id consider the v470 now.

mightymouse is nice, but its not a great mouse. and its way over priced for what it has to offer. other mice are 1/2 what it costs, no thanks

if i had to buy today:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826105085

ive had a microsoft notebook mouse (that is still 30$) that has been the best mouse ive ever owned.

I was going to pick up the wireless mighty mouse tomorrow. Glad I read this thread. Ouch.

Is Razer the brand name or is it a model made by Logitech?

Edit: Never mind, I just came across the Razer website.

I had the Logitech v270. Horrible, horrible mouse. Laggy as all hell (maybe thats all BT mice) and it was generally just not very usable.

The mighty mouse are crap. Sorry guys, but it really is. Right clicking is a hassle on those. I wanted to throw them across the room every time I had to use one.

To be honest, I have yet to find a decent BT device lol (besides cell phones and the head sets).

I saw a M$ bluetooth mouse at Microcenter for $29. I didn't pick it up when I was there but I'm considering it over the Mighty Mouse. My kids have the MM and they aren't complaining. Every time I have to use them, I get frustrated with the missing right click. They use macs at school, so they aren't as obsessed with right clicking as I am. For now, I use a logitech cordless but it wastes one of the two available usb ports on my macbook. I have a MM unopened in the box and am thinking of taking it back.

This thread causes me to lean further in the direction of taking my MM back but I'm also thinking "in for a penny, in for a pound". Why not learn to live on one button and move on? How is the battery life on the MM. Having to replace them more than once every year or so would be a deal breaker for me.

I am not a big fan of bluetooth mouse, one reason is because that it has to change batteries.
I still use my wired mouse and I like it.
I think that apple mighty mouse are a not good enough design, because of the fact that the middle button can easily get dirty. I think that they should make the middle button bigger.
    Just my 2 cents opinion

I own the mighty mouse but on the mac side its response time is a little late which I really hate. But when I switch over to windows its response time is perfect. I really dont get why. I like it because its set strictly for mac but just the response time that really kills it. oh and it can run on 1 battery if that helps in any way. I personally didn't want to go for another mouse because I didnt know how to set up the buttons on the mouse to use like the widgets meny and whatnot.

A lot of people have mentioned that the MM only has "one button". I don't see a problem in that at all - my MM realized right away when I was trying to make a left click versus a right click almost every time. The only issue I have with the MM is the scroll ball gets stuck SOO easily after a while. I finally gave up on it, and opened up the mouse and cleaned it out.

I ordered both the Logitech V470 and VX Nano and I'll be comparing the 2 and see which one I prefer. Mid-march though since that's when I'll be getting my new MBP :)
