Just a quick fyi... apple has released a new battery update (v1.2), you can get it using software update. I am installing it now, will report back on any issues/improvements.

I installed it. Don't really know what it did, but so far nothing wrong.

Installed here too. Some have said that their battery health goes back to 100%, I did not get that. Others have also claimed markedly better life. We will see.

I'll give it a shot and be a guinea pig as well :)

It crashed my macbook. Be carefull installing this one. I installed the 1.2 battery update and there was also a security update. It restarted properly but then I only got a gray screen. I hit the power button 3x and it would only boot to a gray screen. I turned it off again and this time held the option button down to open the dual boot menu. I booted into windows and then restarted and again held the option button down. This time I choose the os x option. It booted without issue.

Just a heads up :) Maybe install the security update separately?

How long did you give it before you started hitting the power button. Usually OS X will be very slow to boot the first time after a major patch is applied.

Installed already. Doing a recalibration to see if that helps any too.
