Hi, I have a 2nd gen macbook,2.0ghz(core 2 duo),white,1gb of RAM and i seem to have some battery issues. I browse and download some files on Safari, listen to music and download some music on Itunes, and use the dashboard. I run the screen at full brightness. And my battery power seems to drop quite quickly. not to mention it also seems to get very hot around the front left portion of the macbook. is there a battery problem? thank you for your help. :)

Well, what's "battery dropping quickly"? How quick is that? If your MacBook can last 3+ hours, I wouldn't be worried.

As for the heat near the front left portion, that's normal, because that's where the battery is. The bottom left of my MacBook is at 31 C right now (thanks to iStat Pro widget).

Drop fully dead? As in from fully charge it goes to below 10% charge in one hour?

    Then there's a problem.
