I get about 6 hours of battery when web browsing (facebook, youtube) and word usage. Is this normal? The battery has 80 cycles and sometimes when i watch movies about 12% of battery is used per hour, on other occasion its 20%, how come? Does the movie quality impact battery usage since its probably harder to process 1080p video than Xvid?

yes times can vary a lot depending on codec and resolution. the harder the system has to work. and the number of pixels it has to keep refreshing. if you want to really kill a battery Flash videos and 4K DIVX can eat a battery at up to two to three times the rate of DVD quality H264 encoding in a number of wrappers
